"Swing for the Fences" baseball project

The goal of the 'Swing for the Fences' project is to teach, train, and have fun through the game of baseball.

ETA4 has begun their inaugural project by supporting the Baseball Club of Hue, Vietnam, and their goal of participating in a national tournament in the Spring.

By teaching students the game using English, and by supplying them with the means to play the game, ETA4 gives the students a chance to experience something new, learn, play, have fun, and measure themselves.

If you would like to donate to ETA4's 'Swing for the Fences' project, or would just like more information, email Victor: victor@eta4.org.

Bien Hoa library project

The youth center in Bien Hoa where we hold our summer program currently does not have a library. We would like to begin an English library where children can have access to all different types of books, both educational and recreational. Donations can include new or gently used books, and/or the money to ship them to Vietnam.

For more information, please email Victor: victor@eta4.org.

Garage sale collection

One of the simplest ways to donate is to get rid of the old stuff cluttering up your house. Each spring, ETA4 holds a variety of garage sales in Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego. If you would like to donate some sellable items, please let us know. Your junk can be transformed into a life-changing education for a child.

ETA4 recognizes the fact that not all have the ability to fly 6,000 miles to volunteer. We also desire to build a network and connection among ETA4 and organizations within the community. With that in mind, ETA4 collaborates with other organizations in the local San Diego community to provide Service in Action. There are various community resource days scheduled throughout the year. If you would like to be involved, send us an email.
